This Configuration Guide is written as general guide on how to configure the Poly CCX600 phone model to work with PBXware 6.7.1.<\/p>\n

To start and successfully complete registration of your Poly CCX600 phone you need to know which phone model you will setup.<\/p>\n

From the back of each Poly CCX600 phone there are exact model information that you should check. Although different phone models can have exactly the same requirements and installation procedure, phone models can also have significantly different requirements and installation procedure, so that ignorance of your own model may result in the inability to successfully set up your phone.<\/p>\n

Open a new browser window and enter your phone IP address, e.g. http:\/\/192.168.1.22<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Select Login As: Admin<\/strong> and enter the Password<\/strong> you already have set earlier, and click Submit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Go to Settings<\/strong> in the upper navigation menu and choose Provisioning Server<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Set Server Type<\/strong> to one of the following: HTTP<\/strong>, HTTPS<\/strong> or Trivial FTP<\/strong>. Note:<\/strong> Our recommendation is to use HTTP for Server Type.<\/p>\n

Depending on what Server Type<\/strong> has been chosen, enter into Server Address<\/strong> field type:<\/p>\n

If the Server Type is HTTP enter: HTTP<\/strong> followed by Hostname or IP Address, followed then by \/prov<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Example for Hostname using HTTP<\/strong>: http:\/\/abc.bicomsystems.com\/prov<\/strong><\/p>\n

Example for IP Address using HTTP<\/strong>: http:\/\/192.168.1.10\/prov<\/strong><\/p>\n

If the Server Type is HTTPS enter: HTTPS<\/strong> followed by Hostname or IP Address, followed then by \/prov<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Example for Hostname using HTTPS<\/strong>: https:\/\/abc.bicomsystems.com\/prov<\/strong><\/p>\n

Example for IP Address using HTTPS<\/strong>: https:\/\/192.168.1.10\/prov<\/strong><\/p>\n

If the Server Type is TFTP enter: TFTP<\/strong> followed by Hostname or IP Address.<\/p>\n

Example for Hostname using TFTP: tftp:\/\/voip.bicomsystems.com<\/strong><\/p>\n

Example for IP Address: tftp:\/\/192.168.1.10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Enter Auto Provisioning username and password into Server User<\/strong> and Server Password<\/strong> fields.<\/p>\n

Click on Submit<\/strong> button then Reboot<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

Auto provisioning process will start during phone reboot process, phone will pickup appropriate configuration file from PBXware. If everything is done as above described, you should have successfully registered your phone to PBXware. Dial *123<\/strong> to verify registration.<\/p>\n

NOTE:<\/strong> If you choose to use HTTPS as a protocol for registering your device, you will need to install certificate to your device.<\/p>\n

To install certificate, please do the following:<\/p>\n

You will have to wait some time for the device to reboot. If everything is done as described above, you should have successfully installed certificate to your device.<\/p>\n
