Apparently<\/a> our no nonsense<\/a> and frank has been, and continues<\/a> to be, quite popular<\/a>.<\/p>\n Much of what we do is pulled from our previous<\/a> experiences<\/a> in nursing, thorough<\/a> consultations<\/a> and history<\/a> taking, using validated<\/a> evidence<\/a> to help guide our decision<\/a> making and crucially<\/a> understanding<\/a> the human body.<\/p>\n We want to get to know our patients<\/a>. We want to work well together, making sure our expectations<\/a> match and we can form a treatment<\/a> plan together<\/a>. This is what drives us, and allows us as a team to enjoy the work we do each day.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Our Clinicians\u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n We are all used to in a high paced, stressful<\/a> and dynamic<\/a> environment, we started<\/a> out as staff nurses working<\/a> in busy Accident<\/a> and Emergency<\/a> departments<\/a> and eventually<\/a> became nurse practitioners<\/a> specialising<\/a> in minor illness<\/a> and injury management<\/a>. Being senior clinicians<\/a> in this area provided<\/a> a broad and diverse<\/a> understanding<\/a> of and and the ability<\/a> to switch between<\/a> conservative<\/a> and more complex<\/a> treatments<\/a> easily and seamlessly<\/a>. Assessing, and treating<\/a> injuries<\/a> such as fractures<\/a> and soft tissue injuries<\/a> and exploring<\/a> and repairing<\/a> wounds gave us significant<\/a> knowledge<\/a> and understanding<\/a> of anatomy<\/a> and physiology, particularly<\/a> facial anatomy<\/a>. Our previous<\/a> roles also required<\/a> us to manage skin problems<\/a> and prescribe<\/a> for skin conditions<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n We have all chosen to specialise<\/a> in aesthetic<\/a> medicine<\/a> and love it!
