One of those is Titanfall 1, a game I’m pretty good at, ask anyone, and though Apex Legends isn’t quite as accomplished as the Titanfall series it shares a lot of its predecessors’ DNA. While I might (unexpectedly) suck at Apex Legends it’s still a very satisfying title. It takes the best bits of Overwatch (unique characters and abilities) and PUBG (Battle Royale, need I say more) while adding a couple of Titanfall gaming mechanics tweaks.
The different colors of the Ascension Atlas and their meanings are red for damage, green for defense and blue is for getting better talent. Stressful though it might be, I am absolutely in love with this game and replayed a chunk of it over the weekend to get Jill Valentine’s letter. Capcom added it in a surprise update shortly after the announcement of the (which will likely be my most-played game of 2020).
There are 141 characters in LoL which is more than enough to populate any genre of game and would certainly lend itself to an MMO. Boss battles against Void monsters like Cho’Gath, stopping the Ice Witch Lissandra’s diabolical plans or even exploring the Yordle forests with Teemo are just examples of possible quests.
Where can I watch BlizzConline? In previous years, fans would need a virtual ticket to watch the stream of the event. Luckily, since there’s no in-person convention, Blizzard has made the entire event free to watch. The livestream will be available on GameSpot’s channel on YouTube.
The interactive map does a wonderful job of displaying how diverse and intriguing the world of Runeterra is. From the on-going conflict between the dual city-states of Piltover and Zaun to the fallen desert empire of Shurima – there are many lands and stories to be explored.
When it finally came out last January, my blog fear that it’d disappoint was washed away by joy at how much fun it was … before that was replaced by the sheer terror caused by the pursuing me throughout the Raccoon City Police Department. This familiar environment that I’d explored endlessly in felt fresh and scary again. Even the zombies seemed completely different, lurching about unpredictably and requiring a whole lot of shots to take down.
Like many events in 2020, BlizzCon was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, publisher Blizzard will take its fan event and game showcase digital with BlizzConline. The two-day show will reveal new content for the company’s popular franchises and let fans hear more straight from the developers making the games.
The duo have dropped most of their management responsibilities to work closely with their team on creating new games. Riot bought Fighting Game company Radiant Entertainment back in 2016, leading to rife speculation that a LoL fighting game would be released.
On the other hand, WoW Classic — a re-creation of the MMORPG circa 2006 — will receive a “new” expansion. Burning Crusade first came out in 2007, and it will bring the same content to WoW Classic. This includes the Blood Elf and Draenei races, the area called Outland and more content according to leaked info.
